School has now switched to online learning for many and it can be a challenge for both student and teacher to adapt to this new mode of teaching. Often, many teachers are left talking to themselves because of how little interaction online classes allow, the limits of the medium getting in the way. Some students have even been just showing up for attendance and then leaving the call soon after they were listed as present.
Well, this teacher found the perfect extension to track a student’s attendance not just at the beginning of the class, but all throughout. He demonstrated how to use it by showing his class attendance. Check out the tweet below:
This is the attendance of my class today. The green boxes are for every minute that a student is present while I discuss, while the gray ones are for those who were present when I started my lesson at 12:50 and left soon after. Notice how the boxes were all green when I started? pic.twitter.com/0u4eSrwXZm

The green boxes are when the student is present and gray is when they aren’t. So cool!
The extension is an extension for Google Chrome and Google Meet called “Google Meet Attendance.” Check it out here.
