Jumpstart 2020: Voyager

September 1-5, 2020 – Ateneo Management Information Systems Association (MISA) is proud to present Jumpstart 2020: Voyager. Ateneo MISA’s Jumpstart is an annual event of MISA to welcome the incoming freshmen of Ateneo’s BS Management Information Systems. This is a 5-day event which would be held on September 1-5, 2020, with around 70-100 participants. This event serves as an avenue for MIS freshmen students of AY 2020-2021 to learn more about their course and to interact with their fellow batchmates and course mates. 

On the first day of the event, September 1, 2020, Jumpstart 2020: Voyager will be having a webinar from 2:00pm – 4:00pm that features speakers who will formally welcome the freshmen students, explain more details about the course they are taking, and give a glimpse of what they will expect in their four/five years journey in Ateneo as BS Management Information Systems (MIS) students.  

Throughout the week, the freshmen will experience fun-filled daily activities with their respective groups and facilitators, and the group that completes most of the tasks by September 5, 2020 will win and receive prizes from our sponsors. These daily activities further enhance and strengthen the bond and friendship of the freshmen students with each other and the upperclassmen. 

On September 5, 2020, Jumpstart 2020: Voyager will be hosting a game night from 7:00pm – 9:00pm for the participants to bond and to get to know each other and the upperclassmen more. The winners of the daily challenges and the game night will be rewarded during the latter part of game night as well.
