Pierre’s Supplies, a small online business is conducting a donation drive for the homeless people in Metro Manila without facemasks and face shields yet. They aim to provide it during this pandemic as not everyone has the capability to afford protection equipment.
The group targets a total of 500 pieces of protection accessories to be given out. But is open to accepting more and will continue with whatever amount or in-kind items they have pooled in.
Michelle Masinsin who currently handles the project stated, “We’ve noticed that there are still a lot of homeless people in Metro Manila without face shield and facemask and one of the reasons is because they can’t afford to buy one. So we’re taking this initiative to help them, but we can’t do it on our own. Together with your help in this small act, we can somehow contribute to preventing the virus from spreading.”
