Captain America sends touching message to boy who saved his sister from attacking dog

Many of us grew up watching our favorite superheroes on the big screen, their bravery immortalized in films and TV shows. And yet, we forget that many heroes are also living amongst us, committing heroic acts even without an audience. Their courage in the face of danger is inspiring. Bridger, the little boy who saved his baby sister from an attacking dog, is undoubtedly one of these heroes and we salute him for it.

Bridger even said that “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.”

His story immediately went viral and celebrities everywhere took notice. Even Mark Ruffalo, the Hulk or Bruce Banner in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, commented: “I truly respect and admire your courage and your heart. Real courage isn’t dominating people or fighting against people or walking around like a tough guy. Real courage is knowing what is right to do and doing it even when it might end up hurting you somehow. You are more of man than many, many I have seen or know.”

Chris Evans, best known as Captain America or Steve Rogers in the MCU, sent Bridger a touching video message, too, while Bridger was in full Cap gear. Chris is sending him his very own authentic Captain America shield, too! Watch the video here:
