You can now use LGBT slang when talking to this COVID-19 chatbot

Yani, the online chatbot designed to respond to questions about the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘learned’ some LGBT slang.

According to the University of the Philippines (UP), you can use now use some Beki slang when conversing with the online chatbot.

Aside from Yani, UP also created social media flashcards in different Philippine languages to provide the public with information about COVID-19.

“Aside from creating a multilingual AI chatbot, the UP Team has also produced social media flashcards in various Philippine languages, such as Filipino, Aklanon, Bahasa Sug, Bikol Sentral, Cebuano, Chavacano de Zamboanga, Hiligaynon, Ilokano, Itawis, Kapampangan, Meranaw, Waray Leyte, and Waray Samar,” said UP.
