We’re getting a third installment of the Legally Blonde movies. This time, Mindy Kaling and writer-producer Dan Goor will be writing the script for the movie.

Reese Witherspoon, who plays Elle Woods in the movies, will also return for this installment. Back in April, Witherspoon also teased about Legally Blonde 3Â during an Instagram Live chat with Jennifer Lopez.
This is the second feature film that Kalin and Goor will be working on together. They have previously worked together for a movie about a Priyanka Chopra wedding comedy.

Legally Blonde is about a sorority girl who surprises many as she decides to go to Harvard for law school. The movie was released back in 2001. The second movie, Legally Blonde: Red White and Blue, was set in Washinton, D.C., and was released in 2013.
