Reese Witherspoon talks about a Legally Blonde 3 in the works with Jennifer Lopez on an Instagram live chat. During the chat, they brought up the topic of the well-loved movie.

While chatting, Jennifer mentioned that she recently watched the movie with her 12-year-old twins, Emme and Max. She said, “Oh, my god, we watched Legally Blonde the other day. Literally, like, four days ago. Oh, my god, I forgot. I can’t believe I didn’t tell you. They loved it. Loved it. It was so much fun.”
She then says, “And then, my daughter’s like, ‘I want to know what happens to her.’ And I said, ‘There’s a 2 and a 3, I believe.’”

With this, Reese said that “Well, no, there’s a 2 but I’m thinking we might be working on a 3.” Both were excited about the idea of a third film, but there is no set release date for the third installment just yet.
