As of today, May 13, 2020, the Philippines recorded its highest recovery number to date at 145. Therefore, out of 11,618 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 2,251 have already recovered, according to the Department of Health.

DOH reported 268 new infections, including 21 new deaths, which brings total mortality to 772.

To combat the further spread of the new coronavirus, enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) is implemented in Metro Manila and select high-risk areas until May 15.

Moderate enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) will be implemented in low-risk areas after May 15 while those that have fewer infections will transition to general community quarantine (GCQ), which is a less strict form of quarantine.
