New ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba’ Movie is Coming to Philippine Theaters!

Save the date, Demon Slayer fans: the newest movie of the year, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, is set to premiere in local theaters!

Odex Private Limited, the company that licenses and releases anime for Southeast Asian consumption, listed down the countries where the movie will show on its recent Instagram post. The list included the Philippines.

Kimetsu No Yaiba Demon Slayer

For those who are unfamiliar with the show, it is about a young boy named Tanjiro who embarks on a journey to become a Demon Slayer after his parents were murdered and his sister, Nezuko, was turned into a demon.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train is a direct sequel to the 2019 anime series which follows Tanjiro and his friends from the Demon Slayer Corps. accompanying Kyōjurō Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, to investigate the mysterious disappearances that occur inside a train.

It is set to be released in October 2020. Note that this is still tentative since we’re still unsure about the state of public health in the next months.
