Facebook’s new ‘care’ reactions are finally out — Here’s when you can expect to get yours

Ever since Facebook announced the arrival of its 2 newest ‘care’ reactions social media has been teeming with memes wondering when they would arrive. Well, they’re finally here but the catch is they’re not yet available for all users.

(New hug reaction is coming on Facebook and it’s just what we need right now)

The 2 new care emojis – a face hugging a heart for Facebook, and a pulsing heart for Messenger – is supposed to appear right alongside Facebook’s 6 other reactions. It began rolling out across the social media platform last April 24 but until today several Facebook users in the Philippines are missing theirs.

How do you get the care reactions to show up? Simply put, you just have to wait for them. Facebook has clarified that the new reactions are being rolled out globally over the course of a few weeks and that typically means 2-4 weeks.

New features are usually activated on a per-country basis and since some Facebook users in the country have already been using the new care reacts, this means it’s only a matter of time until we all have them!

Different sites and Facebook accounts have been trying to fool people into downloading extensions or emoji packs for it, so do be wary and know that patience is the only answer.
