It seems that even Angel Locsin is excited about Julia Montes’ showbiz comeback.
The returning actress shared on her Instagram account a video teaser of her upcoming television series 24/7 in which she will play the lead role of Mia Agbayani. In the comments, Angel expressed her love to Julia by calling her “My Darna.”

It is uncertain whether this comment of hers meant that Julia was truly her top pick to be her successor as the iconic Filipino superheroine, but Julia definitely appreciated the kind words. “Love you ate (big sis),” she replied to the former Darna.
Angel portrayed the superheroine in a television series back in 2005 and was supposed to reprise her role in a big-screen project announced in 2014 until she had to withdraw due to a back injury.
It is now Jane De Leon who will take on the role in the upcoming film adaptation to be directed by Jerrold Tarog.
