Manila Has Just Been Named One Of The World’s ‘Most Dynamic Cities’

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services, recently released its City Momentum Index 2020. This annual Index “identifies the world’s most dynamic cities from a real estate perspective” and “combines socio-economic and commercial property metrics to provide fresh insights into the rapidly evolving geography of business activity.”

The Index named Manila as its 8th most dynamic city amongst a total of 130 major established and emerging business hubs across the globe. Manila joins other Southeast Asian cities Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi on the list. Manila’s inclusion in the list is a testament to its innovative economy and emerging markets.

Advantageous demographics, a robust domestic economy, and a skilled talent base are supporting a dynamic real estate market. Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) is driving office net absorption, as the sector moves into higher-value activities such as animation, gaming, and healthcare.”
