Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia) has confirmed pre-production for the second season of The Witcher is set to start shortly.
Cavill shared the news of the second season and thanked the fans for the warm and positive reactions to the first season of the show on Instagram.
There is no word yet as to when the second season will be released on Netflix, but the producer of the first series, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, did reveal that the show’s premiere window is 2021.
Season one of The Witcher is now streaming on Netflix.
