Going viral right now is this cartoon that depicts Steve Irwin welcoming animals who became victims of the massive bushfire in Australia.

Australian artist Shania-Mae Sturm created the cartoon and shared it on Instagram. It immediately went viral, getting a ton of responses from people in different parts of the world.

The artist revealed that she’s been working on the cartoon for the past three weeks.

“This little tribute drawing goes to all the innocent animals caught in the blazes across my home country, it breaks my heart to see it still going on but there’s only so much that can be done to keep it from spreading,” Sturm wrote.

In the massive bushfire, koalas are said to have been hit the hardest. About 8,000 koalas or 1/3 of their population have been killed by the bushfire, according to CBS News.
