Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero announced last May 2018 that they were expecting. “The greatest of blessings all in God’s perfect timing! Our beautiful family just got a little bigger,” Heart had written in an Instagram post. Unfortunately, she revealed in a later post that they lost one of the twins they were expecting early on.

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Motherhood this early on it’s that it won’t always be sunshine and butterflies, sometimes there will be cloudy moments. But it’s these ups and downs that I know will make me a stronger Mom,” Heart openly shared.
Sadly, in June 2018 Heart and Chiz lost their remaining baby. “It’s not the end, just another chapter. I take comfort knowing that you’re up there with your twin. I don’t question God about this sad time, I trust in His timing and plan,” Heart wrote.
On December 16, Heart shared a special message for her late baby through her Instagram story. She reposted a photo of what was supposed to be her baby’s nursery with the caption: “Today was your birthday.”
