LOOK: PHLPost Releases Special Stamps for 2019 SEA Games

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has released stamps, souvenir sheets, and official first day covers commemorating the Philippines’ hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games or the 2019 SEA Games, plus special stamps for Pasko (Christmas) 2019.

The SEA Games stamp costs 12 pesos. Featured on one sheet of eight stamps are selected sports: weightlifting, badminton, cycling, and billiards beside the motto, “We Win As One”. Each stamp bears the logo of the Philippines 2019 30th SEA Games.

The stamps were designed by PHLPost’s in-house graphic artist Rodine Teodoro. The souvenir sheet (die-cut to the silhouette of a basketball player) sells for 67 pesos, and features the sports tennis, gymnastics, and track and field on one stamp and two hands clasped in solidarity.

While you’re at it, you may want to buy the special “Maligayang Pasko” stamp sheet, too. This year’s Christmas design features a children’s choir and their families at a novena mass held at dawn, popularly known as Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo, which starts on December 16 and ends on the morning of December 24.
