If you were a fan of the 2001 released Taiwanese hit series “Meteor Garden” then you probably also heard about the 2018 remake of the same show. The new “Meteor Garden” was released last 2018 and fans were totally excited to see the brand new actors who would once again portray their beloved characters. One of which, of course, is the ever-charismatic leader of the group F4, Dao Ming Si, who is now played by none other than Dylan Wang.
Dylan Wang (or Wang He Di) didn’t see himself as an actor in the earlier parts of his career. In fact, Dylan was a flight attendant and also the poster model of his school, Sichuan Southwest College of Civil Aviation. However, his natural charms landed him various variety show gigs and eventually the role of the playful and charismatic leader of F4 in the new “Meteor Garden” series.
This truly launched the actor’s career and propelled him to fame globally. Even Filipinos, who are very much still in love with the series, fell for Dylan’s charming qualities both on and off-screen.
His PH Fun Meet was held at the Araneta Coliseum. Fans swarmed the venue holding banners and lightsticks. When the actor finally appeared on stage, fans welcomed him with loud cheers. The actor was warmly received by his adoring Filipino fans and even got the chance to interact and play with a few fans. Those lucky fans were able to get an exclusive voice recording on their phones, a selfie, a bouquet of flowers, and signed posters.

The night ended with Dylan being very thankful for the opportunity to spend some time in Manila with his fans. The actor said that he did not expect that kind of reception towards him.
