‘Stranger Things’ Writers Finally Answer One Big Fan Question About Robin

Stranger Things 3 spoilers ahead!

If there’s one stand-out character that we’d really love to see come back for the fourth season of Stranger Things, it’s Robin. Robin, played by Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s daughter Maya, is a girl Steve works with at Scoops Ahoy!

Here’s what we know about Robin so far: 1) she’s gay, 2) the girl she liked had a major crush on Steve, 3) she’s good with languages, which helped when Steve and Dustin were cracking the Russian code, and 4) she’s super badass. Basically, we love her.

However, despite all of this, we ended season three without knowing what Robin’s last name is. Fans have been speculating that there’s going to be some big reveal about her identity in the next season, but Stranger Things writers shut that down real fast.

The official Stranger Things writers’ room account tweeted: “Better pay more attention, we already told you Robin’s last name.” And then proceeded to drop another hint:

Crafty fans went on a mission and, together with the “Better pay more attention” tweet, “United States of Erica”, “Cuteness overload”, “Kids being kids”, “Looking for?”, “Eleven probably needs a hug”, and “You know who you gonna call” spelled B-U-C-K-L-E-Y. They confirmed this too!

So there you have it, folks. The girl we all have a crush on right now is named Robin Buckley. Here’s to hoping we see more of her in the next season!
