DOTr Warns Drivers Not to Lambing and Drive

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) posted on their official Facebook page on Tuesday, June 25, reminding couples to keep their focus on the road and not on each other after a video of a couple kissing and hugging while driving went viral on social media.

DOTr shared said video on its Facebook page where it advised drivers to be safe. The post said that it’s okay to express affection as long as it’s in a safe place, time, and way. It also reminded drivers to focus on the road and that it’s better to let go of their significant other and not the wheel. “No bitter feelings. Just love,” the post continued.

The DOTr found posted an update the next day saying that they found out that the couple in the video were not Filipino. But insisted, however, that it didn’t matter if they were Filipino or not because road safety is important no matter where you are in the world.

The updated post continued to say that being safe together is a real relationship goal.
