Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Patrick Stewart (Professor X) were given Guinness World Records for their time in the X-Men franchise. The two actors were awarded the record for longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero.
Hugh and Patrick played their respective roles for 16 years and 228 days. This is quite a feat that many Marvel fans hope goes on even longer. Hugh, specifically, has been called on by fans and super-fan Ryan Reynolds for a few years now to come back.
Both actors debuted as Marvel superheroes in X-Men (2000) and their recent appearance was in Logan (2017).
