Shaq buys furniture for family of 5-year-old dog attack victim

Shaquille O’Neal did amazing things on and off the floor during his NBA career. And even though he’s retired, O’Neal continues to do inspiring work beyond basketball.

The Hall of Famer surprised a 5-year-old girl Syrai Sanders, who came home after spending almost two months in the hospital.

Sanders was seriously injured after getting attacked by a dog, along with her 6-year-old classmate Logan Braatz, while they were walking to their bus stop back in January. Unfortunately, Braatz died.

To celebrate her Sanders’ homecoming, O’Neal told her and her family to meet him at “Rooms to Go,” where he bought them new furniture for their home.

According to Fox5, the former Lakers superstar has been in contact with the Sanders family since Syrai’s attack.

Way to go, Shaq!
