WATCH: Natural Rainbow Tree in the Philippines

Watch this video from Tech Insider that shows that “there’s a naturally occurring rainbow tree in the Philippines.”

We did a little research, and apparently, the tree is called Eucalyptus deglupta, which is also known as the rainbow eucalyptus, Mindanao gum, or rainbow gum.

Locally, it is known as “Bagras” and is very popular especially in Mindanao.

Apparently, the when the tree sheds its bark, its insides begin to appear in different colors as time goes by, creating a rainbow-like effect.
