If you can’t trust anyone with your life’s story, trust your Uber driver. (Not applicable if you’re a celebrity, though!)
I remember one ride when a perky driver was asking me too many questions at first, which was very Titos of Manila of him. He gave up and decided to share his funny stories instead since I was busy shunning drama and pretending I was some ghost. He even shared some local celebrity gossip, thoughts on the elections, career advice and warnings on buying a condo. His playlist was like hot cappuccino and jejemon-free, which was all you need for a lonely night. People like him deserve dogs for presents.
Anyway, this driver didn’t cancel when a girl booked a difficult destination! The drop-off was a bit strange, but she had to get there. Here’s the story of that fateful night:
