WATCH: The 1975 Did a Jazzy Cover of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and Absolutely Nailed It

British rock band The 1975 paid a visit two days ago at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge where artists do live performances and covers of other artists’ songs, and they absolutely nailed Justin Bieber’s hit song, Sorry.

The band’s cover of the song is far from the original. They definitely made it their own, as any good band or artist doing a cover would. Compared to Bieber’s pop, highly dancable take on the song, The 1975’s rendition is full of sass, sax, and soul. And, okay, a whole lot of sexy, too. Matt Healey’s raspy, bedroom singing voice is great, but that’s not the best thing about this cover. The instrumental takes the throne on this one. Killing it, guys. Wow.
