LeBron James Witness History 11

During the match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers last Monday, LeBron scored his 25,000th point since he joined the NBA. And he did it in style: an alley-oop dunk in the fourth quarter.

James’ accomplishment was announced during a timeout, where he received a standing ovation from the crowd.

Lebron James is the 20th player to reach the 25,000 point milestone. And at the age of 30, he’s the youngest to reach the mark, beating Kobe Bryant who reached his five years ago at the age of 31.

Other players that reached 25,000 includes: Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce.

According to reports, James is also one of the few players that reached 25,000 with the fewest number of games; number four in the list, he trails behind Wilt Chamberlain (691), Michael Jordan (782) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (889).

The Cleveland Cavaliers won, 107-100, against the Philadelphia 76ers in last Monday’s game, where James scored 22 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, and four steals.
