5. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
“Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is another launch title for the Nintendo Switch and is the 19th installment in the “Legend of Zelda” series. It’ll be the first game in the series with HD resolution, so Zelda fans will be able to see the world of Hyrule in 3D as they journey with an amnesiac Link.
4. Dark Souls III: The Ringed City
The “Dark Souls” franchise has always been one of the hardest, most frustrating video games in the market; but it is also one of the most rewarding. With the upcoming expansion, “The Ringed City”, there will be more places to explore, bosses to kill, and deaths to be frustrated about. “The Ringed City” takes place in the Ringed City , “close of the Age of Fire, as the world ends and all the lands converge upon themselves”. The DLC launches in March.
3. Sniper Elite 4
Gamers who enjoy a good stealth action game with a mix of trigger-happy moments and open-world elements will find pure enjoyment in Sniper Elite 4. Sniper Elite 4 takes American OSS agent Karl Fairburne through World War 2, battling Nazis like a boss (get the reference? *wink*). SE4 comes out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in February.
2. Dynasty Warriors 9
Dynasty Warriors 9 will be the first fully-open world game of the Dynasty Warriors series since it first came out in 1997, which is a rather good move for Koei considering that DW is a long-running game franchise and an open-world element will help keep the franchise at par with the current trend. So if you plan to traverse through China while battling it out against the yellow turban army, DW9 is for you.
1. Fire Emblem Heroes
“Fire Emblem Heroes” will be Nintendo’s second mobile game out in the market after the successful launch of “Super Mario Run” late last year, a bold move for Nintendo as they try to penetrate the smartphone market. The game will be free to play on Android and iOS and will be have the usual Fire Emblem gameplay.
