While this may seem like another social media trend, it was actually for a deeper cause: to help light up Christmas for Sitio Casili together with Lady’s Choice.

For over a decade, Lady’s Choice has been known for being a Noche Buena staple, bringing Filipino families together over a simple but memorable meal of macaroni salad.

This year, Lady’s Choice was able to bring light and foster togetherness in Sitio Naubo, a small town located in Dumaguete. With the help on many families online, Lady’s Choice was able to give another village the gift of light this Christmas. By teaming up with One Million Lights Philippines, Sitio Casili in Rodriguez, Rizal was able to receive solar-powered lights, which are sustainable and last about five years. “Doing this helped families save on expenses for kerosene lamps, reduce risks of illnesses and poor eyesight, and allow more quality time for families at night,” says Mark Lozano, the co-founder of One Million Lights Philippines.

As seen in the online campaign that was recently launched by Lady’s Choice, families were full of joy when they were provided with light, something that many of us take for granted. The last part of the video, which surely warmed the hearts of many, shows parents distributing their macaroni salad to their children.

Through the #ThankUTogether campaign, Lady’s Choice hopes everyone will have a brighter Christmas and celebrate the gift of togetherness this yuletide season.
