The hosts of Umagang Kay Ganda took the time to greet their rival morning show Unang Hirit for their 20th anniversary.

In the clip, Long Mejia, Ariel Ureta, Winnie Cordero, Jorge Carino, Anthony Taberna, Amy Perez, Jeff, and K Brosas were seen saying, “Mula po sa pambansang morning show ng Pilipinas, happy anniversary, Unang Hirit!”
Unang Hirit responded to the greeting, with host Arnold Clavio saying, “Nais nating pasalamatan ang isa sa mga bumati sa atin, ang mga taga–UKG.”
His co-hosts also cheered, including Lhar Santiago, Suzi Entrata, Luanne Dy, Susan Enriquez, Pia Arcangel, and Mang Tani Cruz.

He also posted the greeting on his Instagram account, followed by a short clip of his personal message.
Unang Hirit has been on air since December 6, 1999, making it the longest-running morning show in the Philippines. Some of its original hosts are still part of the program, like Suzi, Lyn Ching-Pascual and Arnold. It has won several awards through the years, notably from the Catholic Mass Media Awards, PMPC Star Awards for Television, UP Gandingan Awards, and the Anak TV Seal.
