Okay, I might be going out on a limb saying that this is the best Game of Thrones theme song cover ever (cos we’ve seen a lot), but I promise you–this one’s freaking awesome.
Not only is the video shot in Dubrovnik in Croatia, where Game of Thrones’ city Kings Landing films, the duo performing the instrumental cover is donned in full-on Thrones costume, too. And they are pretty intense.
The cover is performed by 2CELLOS, a pair of talented cellists from Croatia–Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. Watch their incredible performance here:
