This stunning video of the Philippines was made by 3 travellers known as “The Baconeers.” They set out on a 6 month adventure with their Volkswagen and cameras with a goal to reach 81 provinces in the Philippines. Wherein they visit the lesser-known spots, have adventures and gain and understanding of unique people and cultures.
Alfie Agunoy (driver), Francis Sta. Romana (mechanic), Paul Quiambao (photographer) make up the team. They told us that they are called “The Baconeers” because they eat bacon when they summit a mountain. They use Sony DSLR/Olympus and GoPro/Garmin cameras.
Their goal is to see the entire PH and explore the not so famous destinations and raise fund to provide 5000 solar lamps for the Filipino students. They also want to meet people from all over the country. Not just to socialize but to help them as well.
