This is the world’s best airport for 2018

In the recent Skytrax survey result, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila, which has been notorious as one of the world’s worst airport, obtained the 10th spot on the list of Most Improved Airports in the World for 2018.

Now, we take a look at the top end of the spectrum.

Winning for six years straight, Changi International Airport in Singapore is the World’s Best Airport in 2018. No other airport has gotten such award for six years straight. Changi Airport was also named the Best Airport in Asia, and Best Airport for Leisure Amenities.

The top 10 worlds best airports are: (in proper order)

  1. Changi Airport (Singapore)
  2. Seoul Incheon (South Korea)
  3. Haneda (Japan)
  4. Hong Kong
  5. Doha Hamad
  6. Munich
  7. Centrair Nagoya (Japan)
  8. London Heathrow
  9. Zurich
  10. Frankfurt

The result of the survey is according to Skytrax, a London-based research firm. It is based on 13.73 million airport survey questionnaires across over 100 nationalities of air travelers. Over 500 airports worldwide take part in this survey.

Skytrax evaluates customer satisfaction across various key performance indicators for airport service and product. This is from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration, and anything through to departure at the gate.
