On Friday night, after a couple days fighting for his life, Siargao-based professional surfer Mike Escoltura passed away.
His friends created this lovely video tribute ‘This Is Mike’ and it contains a lot of feels.

It is both heartwarming and heartbreaking to remember Mike who has gone too soon.
The two-minute video showed Mike’s path to becoming a surfer. Apparently, he and his twin brother, Mark, are some of the best surfers in Siargao.
On April 19, Mike was in a vehicular accident where he got some serious injuries.
