Spotted this afternoon at the UAAP Press Conference, DLSU and FEU Men’s Basketball and head coaches make amends following their most recent brawl at a match in Davao a few weeks ago.

Aldin Ayo (DLSU) and Olsen Racela (FEU) were seen hugging, much to the relief of the press conference’s attendees and both teams’ fans when photos of the moment surfaced on social media.

In an interview with Sports Desk, Ayo clarified that the hug ” had a purpose”.

It was very unfortunate that it happened, pero ‘di na namin pinag-uusapan yun (but we don’t talk about it anymore). We’re focused on the upcoming season,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Olsen remarked the same sentiments regarding the Davao incident and the hug.

“Same thing with coach Aldin. Sa akin (for me), I always tell my boys not to dwell on the past and be mindful of the present. Having said that, kalimutan na natin ang nangyari, (let’s forget about what happened)” he said, also reported by ABSCBN News.

Just recently a heated scuffle occurred between the two members of the UAAP, particularly the Men’s Basketball Teams, during a pocket tournament held at Davao; according to Spin.ph.

Hosted by Far Eastern University, the UAAP Season begins on Saturday at the MOA Arena, now on its 80th season.
