Kita Kita

Remember when it was announced that the hit indie movie Kita Kita is getting an Indonesian remake? We have great news: you’ll be able to catch that version in the Philippines because it’s going to be shown here next week!

The remake, called Cinta Itu Buta (Love is Blind), is set to be shown in screens across the country beginning November 13.

Dodit Mulyanto, the actor who will play the role of Empoy Marquez, is in Manila to promote the film. He revealed that if Kita Kita shot scenes in Sapporo, Japan, the remake flew to Busan, Korea, for the shoot.

Kita Kita is currently the highest-earning Pinoy independent film. It has already earned more than P300 million after three weeks of hitting the big screen. It beats Henaral Luna, which earned P257 million in 2015.
