Sony Lets You “Feel the Air” with Its High-Resolution Audio Products

 

 

Sony recently showcased its latest line of High-Resolution Audio (HRA) products in Singapore that lets audiophiles enjoy superb quality music in a room setup and even on-the-go.

Formally launched at IFA 2014, these new products were made available for us to try, and after doing so, we can say that it was indeed a life-changing music experience. Products present at the event include an high-resolution digital music player, several high-resolution headphones, a few hybrid in-ear headphones, and a quality headphone amplifier. 

At the event, two demo rooms were available where Sony allowed us to experience their HRA products first-hand. We were able to listen to high-quality music via Sony’s premium line of headphones and speakers. Another demo also allowed us to see the difference between an MP3 content and a High-Resolution music content.

High-Resolution Walkman

More than 30 years ago, when the world only knew of cassette tapes, Sony’s Walkman has already been a portable device of choice by many music enthusiasts. Today, in the digital age of music, the Walkman has also evolved to suit the taste and needs of the modern audiophile. One of the versions of the modern Walkman that has the capability to play high-resolution music is the NWZ-A10.

The Sony NWZ-A10 is one of the smallest and lightest HRA music player available. It has the following characteristics:

At the event, we were able to meet two engineers of Sony and have a quick chat with them. According to them, the audio technology of Sony is still continuously developing so they can provide better and improved devices to all consumers.
