Jane of Sofitel, led us to our seats or should I say benches and gave us a quick rundown of what to expect in the program. As I settled in, I grinned upon seeing a tower of beer in the middle of the table. Awesome! But I didn’t fill my mug just yet because I didn’t want to get tipsy early and miss out on all the fun.
There’s no shortage of beer in this place. Each table has one barrel or tower and you can drink to your heart’s content.

The Oktoberfest celebration is really a time for merrymaking and we’re told  that Bavarian bands actually go around and make everyone get on their feet and dance. You can’t resist dancing and jumping around the moment you hear their really fun song.
We even got to learn some German words. These were some of the lyrics to the incredibly catchy song we had to dance along. Cool.Â
