A set of gourmet food, wine, pretty models, a gallery of amazing pictures, media men, executives and sample units of the Nokia Lumia 1020 surrounded the lobby of Ayala Museum as everyone awaited the official unveiling of the Nokia Lumia 1020 phone known as the “zoom reinvention”. The attendees were greeted by the host, David Celdran. After the nice introduction, Karem Holub, Nokia Philippines’ General Manager, welcomed the people, as well. Right after that, the audience was treated to an elaborate and informative presentation of the Nokia Lumia 1020 by Mr. Gary Chan, Head of Marketing of Nokia Pan Asia.

“The Nokia Lumia 1020 is the first smartphone to exceed many standalone digital cameras in terms of image quality capture ensuring users always have that perfect photo – day or night,” said Chan.

Beside the main stage were two small rooms dedicated for the hands-on activity given to the audience. First, there was the Zoom Room, which let the people experience Nokia Lumia 1020‘s zooming capabilities via an actual zooming contest. Secondly, there was the Dark Room, which enabled the audience to get hands-on experience on manipulating the settings of the Nokia Lumia 1020 and make it work in a dark setting.
