MRT WILL NOT Hand Out “Excuse Letters” If You Are Late For Work

Nope, the MRT isn’t giving you an excuse slip for being late for work because of glitches in the train.

MRT Woes - thick crowds during rush hour

Local reports say that the Department of Transportation and Communication denied reports that “excuse letters” will be given to affected passengers who show up late for work due to glitches in the system. According to these earlier reports, passengers can supposedly be given to their employers.

At the most, incident reports can be issued upon request, according to news reports.

The DOTC also adds that glitches in the train’s system are being solved by “long-term rehabilitation” and improvement projects.

For the meantime, if you’re a regular MRT rider, you just have to stick it out for a little while and hope you don’t get to the office late.

What do you think of this? Do you think excuse letters should be given to passengers?
