Sen. Nancy Binay is surely earning plenty of points on the internet. After becoming a widely-used meme for her facial expressions, the senator is now launching a new book. Her title? Charcoal Confessions.
The title may be a nod to her complexion, which has become the subject of jokes, but the book tackles a serious issue: cyberbullying. In the book. Sen. Nancy gives tips on how to handle online bashers, based on her experience.
She said, “Truth be told, social media has negatively impacted today’s generation. It has become more of an obsession rather than a way to help build relationships and encourage communication. This is why I wanted to share how my perspective and positive attitude about life helped me in my journey toward healing.”
The theme of the senator’s book follows her first literary offering, a social media manual called Make Love Not War.
Charcoal Confessions is available in the ABS-CBN Store, online platforms, and leading bookstores.
