After the shocking result of the US presidential election, people from all over the world have taken to social media to express their feelings about the event. This is a global issue, after all. As one of the world’s most powerful nations, whoever sits in the White House Oval Office has a say at pretty much most, if not all, global topics. And that is simply a fact.
One of the many personalities who have expressed their thoughts on the matter is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Without straightforwardly addressing the issue, Zuckerberg was still successful at deliver one clear message—the work is up to us. No matter who sits on the office.

“The work is bigger than any presidency,” he writes. “Let’s go work even harder.”
With all the negativity the world is facing right now, that is one thing the Facebook founder got right. The work certainly is up to us. The question is: are we ready to step up to the plate?
