Riverbanks Center in Marikina City will once again host Philippine National Fireworks Festival now on its fifth year where seasoned pyro-musical geniuses compete for prize and prestige. All Saturday evenings of April 9, 16, and 23 at 7p.m. to 8p.m. will see the skies of Marikina lit up by an explosion of colors and images synchronized with music, as competitors from all over the country showcase their creativity and talent.
After three day series of elimination rounds, the winning groups will then compete in the grand finals on April 30 at 7p.m. – 8p.m., where audience will enjoy and be entertained by performances of surprise celebrity guests and jaw-dropping numbers from the best of the best competitors for this year. The show will definitely be opened by fitting presentation signaling the magical interpretations of this year’s competition plus a performance from Platinum Fireworks Inc.
Filipinos have time and again proven that they can beat their peers from anywhere in the world, winning awards here and abroad, including competitions in pyrotechnics. But if they have been relegated to providing intermissions and opening numbers in some locally hosted international competitions, here in Riverbanks Center, they will take the center stage, giving audiences an eye-full of jaw-dropping numbers.
Participating pyrotechnic companies to battle head-to-head and give their best shots for glory will be coming from Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Batangas City, Quezon and Valenzuela City, to as far as the provinces of Palawan and Negros Oriental.
To get the best view of the fireworks display especially on the grand finals, ticketed seats are available at P100 only while the elimination rounds will be free of charge. Tickets are now available at the Riverbanks Mall Customer Service Counter. Families will experience fireworks revelry this early at Riverbanks Center. Riverbanks Center is located at A.
