Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal displays his commendable acting skills in what looks like yet another brilliant film. He stars in the upcoming drama, Stronger, a film based on the real-life events of the Boston Marathon bombings. This happened in 2013, when two bombs detonated only seconds apart, killing three people and injuring hundreds, many of whom lost limbs.
Thus is the story of Jeff Bauman, played by Gyllenhaal, who showed up at the vicinity in support of his girlfriend, played by actress Tatiana Maslany, who was running the marathon. Jeff Bauman lost both his legs.
Stronger is a story of loss and suffering, but above all of love and hope that surpasses. Watch the moving trailer here:
