Indie Un-Film: See Life Happen

 

Last February 6-8. Indie Un-Film successfully held its 11th year. The three-day long film screening was held in Natividad Fajardo- Gonzales Auditorium and followed by the awarding ceremony in 4th floor Henry Sy Sr. Hall. For 11 years, IUF has served as an avenue for student artists to showcase their talents in filmmaking and at the same time, earn recognition under the categories of Music Video, Experimental, Feature and Documentary.

Through the critique of IUF’s judges: Avid Liongeren, Jim Libiran, Gino Santos, Hannah Espia, Sigfreid Barros-Sanchez, and Monster Jimenez, a new generation of directors received recognition for their eye opening and creative films!

    

The winners of IUF 2014 is as follows:

 

Best Director & Cinematogprahy- Punla by Kenneth Mandrilla
Audience Choice- Punla by Kenneth Mandrilla
Best Documentary- Retokada by Jane Bulahan, Athina De Ocampo, Alren Desoyo, Roi Ferma and Claudine Jacinto

 

 

The Indie Un-Film 2014 would like to thank everyone who’s been part of the success of IUF. All the participants who showed interest to the Indie Un-Film and everyone who gave indie films a chance and watched the selected entries with the IUF committee in Natividad Fajardo- Gonzales Auditorium.

Continue to support indie films next year in Indie Un-Film 2015 and the next coming years. With the help of everyone, more people will see the beauty of indie films and embrace it wholeheartedly. Let’s see each other again next year! Congratulations to the winners and thank you all!
