The man responsible for “Celebgate”, a massive hacking of celebrities’ private photos was sentenced to 18 months in prison, according to reports.
“Celebgate” saw the illegal accessing of over 100 hundred email accounts, leading to the release of nude photos that involved celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and more.
36-year-old Ryan Collins pleaded guilty in May to hacking, and admitted to using a phishing scheme to obtain passwords and access online accounts.
