In the midst of his highly publicized divorce from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has taken up a new hobby to keep his mind off his troubles.
The “Fury” star has been seen stepping into an art studio in Los Angeles, spending about 15 hours a day sculpting.
Brad is getting help from his friend, British artist Thomas Houseago, who tutors him on the art. The Oscar-winning actor reportedly listens to “emotional music” during all those hours practicing his sculpture.
According to a source who spoke with Daily Mail:
“Everybody knows it’s related to what’s going on with him personally, but nobody says anything. He’s a quiet guy, and very humble. He’s learning at a fast pace. Art is a way for him to concentrate on one thing, taking his mind off everything else.
He’d rather do that and be constructive than go out partying.”
Angelina, meanwhile has been spotted trotting all over the world with their children — she just gave a lecture at London School of Economics, where she’s due to start as guest lecturer in September, as well as jetting to Cambodia with her kids.
