Filipina singer Katchry Golbin, also known as Alienette Coldfire, made quite an impression at France Got Talent and blew the judges away!
Singing a French rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables, the 25-year-old impressed judges Eric Antoine, an illusionist, singer Helene Segara, choreographer kamel Ouali and producer Gilbert Rozon.
In a translation by Purepeople, Katchry said in French:
I sing since the age of 5 years. The music is my life. I often tell my friends that I sing for a living and I live to sing. At home, it is said that the blind are unable to do great things. They are wrong. There is always another way to live like everyone else.
According to French news reports, Alienette studied the French language after becoming fascinated with the song “La Vie En Rose” by Edith Piaf, learning it for three years.
