Angelina Jolie Gives Lecture At London School of Economics

Angelina Jolie: actress, activist, filmmaker, philanthropist, lecturer.

President of France Philippine Visit Angelina Jolie

The actress is due to start her term as visiting professor at the London School of Economics on September 17 this year, but Jolie made an early visit to the prestigious school to do a lecture on her philanthropy work with a post-graduate class on Tuesday, March 14.

According to LSE:

“Angelina Jolie spoke to a class of students taking the postgraduate course ‘Women, Peace and Security,’ as part of her role as visiting professor in practice in the Centre for Women, Peace and Security. Miss Jolie spoke about her experience and what has motivated her work as UNHCR special envoy and as co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative, and took questions from the class.””

Jolie, who is a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), spearheaded the Centre on Women, Peace and Security alongside former British Foreign Secretary William Hague at the London School of Economics in 2015.

Wish we had Angelina Jolie for a college professor, too!
