As for privacy, Tambisaan beach is much more private than what you’d usually experience while walking along the shores of Boracay. There are hardly any people walking down Tambisaan beach, ensuring that you get away from all of that hustle and bustle whenever you are at the apartment.

These were literally the only people I saw at Tambisaan Beach on our first day.

…and got even more beautiful as the hours went by.

If you aren’t a sand lover, Under the Stars also has an outdoor pool with lounge chairs all around. I spent most of my days just lying in the sun and reading a book. It was so peaceful and calm since we were basically the only people there that I actually got to finish an entire book in one weekend! I hadn’t done that in YEARS!

The staff is incredibly friendly, too. They will help you with anything that you might need during your stay, be it help with working their high tech coffee machine, booking a shuttle to the main beach, cooking food, getting a massage or even just getting an ashtray.

Shuttles to the main beach cost Php250, which really isn’t much if you plan on going with a big group of people. Conversely, you can get a chef to cook your meals if you plan on staying in the apartment all day and you can even order a masseuse because, yes, you deserve a massage.

Wi-Fi is also available at the property, so you can work whenever you please or share your luxurious experience on social media, which you will most probably want to do once you’re there. I don’t remember how many Facetime calls I made just to show my friends the bathroom. 

I will never get sick of sharing pictures of this bathroom.

There is only one problem that I had with Under the Stars, though: it made my Manila life so ‘blah’ afterwards. On my first day back in the city, I kept daydreaming about the place and wishing I had stayed longer. Our stay was definitely worth it.
