We believe that breakfast food is superior and one of our favorites is waffles. It’s just so delicious and pleasing to look at that it’s something that we don’t mind having every morning for breakfast. If you’re like us who looooove waffles, here are some places where you can order them:

A list of waffles wouldn’t be complete without Pancake House. The restaurant is a legend and has been serving pancakes and waffles since the ’70s. Pancake House has the classic Golden Brown Waffles, but you can also jazz it up with the Chocolate Marble, Cheese, Bacon, and the Caramel Banana Walnut.

Another breakfast staple, this time from overseas, is Denny’s. For over 60 years, they’ve served hearty meals 24/7, including waffles. There are many ways you can order waffles here: you can order them individually (or as pairs), with fried chicken, or with a dipping sauce made up of queso, chili meat, pico de gallo, cilantro, and sour cream. You can also try the Waffle Slam, which comes with the Golden waffle, two eggs, two bacon strips, and two sausages.

Locations: Eastwood / Global South / McKinley / Midtown / TriNoma / Vista Mall Sta. Rosa.

Duck & Buvette

Duck & Buvette may be known for their food influenced by the cooking of the French countryside, but they also have waffles. Their D&B liége waffles are made from scratch using fermented dough, French butter, and pearl sugar. During the griddling, the pearl sugar melts to form a light caramelized crunch coating. Try the Sugar Waffle for something more straightforward or try their special flavors. There’s the Nutella Almonds (also with chocolate chip and whipped cream), Ham ‘n Cheddar (parma ham, Colby Jack cheddar cheese, and sesame seeds), Tartine (Intelligentsia coffee butter and jam), and the Fruit & Cream (in season fruit compote and whipped cream).

Single Origin is a great place for all-day brunch dining so it’s no surprise that they have waffles, too. Their offerings are divided between sweet and savory. For sweet, there’s the Classic that’s served with whipped butter, maple syrup, and fresh orange slices. They also have more decadent variants like the Chocolate Chip with Cashews and the Banana Split Sundae. For something savory, try the Bacon and Egg with Waffles or the Corned Beef and Egg with Waffles.
