Erich Gonzales has constantly been the subject of romance rumors despite never really confirming or denying them. She has always valued the privacy of her love life, choosing not to post anything that would insinuate her relationship status on social media.

In her latest vlog, Erich decided to explain to curious fans the reason for her secrecy. “I think it’s for the best,” she said. “I want to protect something so precious to me and something beautiful. I don’t want to ruin it, so sa akin nalang yun!”
When asked about what she thought about marriage and having children in the same vlog, Erich said that she does want to eventually settle down but would rather focus on her success in her career first.

Erich had been previously linked with non-showbiz suitor Mateo Lorenzo, the brother of Claudia Barretto’s boyfriend Basti Lorenzo, although she never admitted to it.
